The subclass 300 prospective marriage visa allows you to travel to Australia and marry your prospective spouse.
It is an offshore application (meaning you must be outside Australia) and your prospective spouse (your Australian visa partner) must be an Australian citizen, an Australian permanent resident, or an eligible New Zealand citizen.
Once granted, you must marry your prospective spouse before the end of the visa period, and once married you are then eligible to apply for a partner visa in Australia.
